new spark plugs that give 1,000,000 watts instead of 50 watt output?
there are some new spark plugs ,well they are called pulse plugs that just came out. they say that they give more torque and horsepower because it uses electronic pulses to create 1,000,000 wattsthey also save more gas because they burn the fuel more efficiently. do these pulse plugs really work? check them out http://www.pulstarplug.com/
I'm sure, in lab tests with the motors that they prepared, they have the numbers to back up their claims.HOWEVER-most times those prepped test-mule engines/cars are not what you or I drive-and I'm sure there's some kind of disclaimer in the small print. Look for any type of guarantee and there will be a disclaimer of some kind.
Kind of reminds me of the claims that the Split Fire spark plugs were hyping. Ever racer knows that a high-compression , high-horsepower engine will develop more power if the spark plugs are "Indexed' to the intake vale-the spark plug gap is pointed directly at the intake valve. By putting a split ground electrode on the plug, guess what your chances of an opening lining up with an intake valve are compared to a plug with a single electrode? The big thing with those was the "high-horsepower, high-compression' issue. On an 87 -octane daily-driver, it just doesn't matter that much
