Face Cradle
Cradle cap is crusty, scaly, usually on the scalp of the baby. This skin disease is usually observed in infants after two months of age, and that up to two years of age. Although the exact medical causes are not known, many Experts say it could be due to hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands in the newborn baby. Other experts attribute this provided a weak digestive system in the newborn, which may make them unable to absorb the bulk of the B complex vitamins that contribute to the maintenance skin healthy and good.
cradle CAP is certainly not due to poor hygiene or allergies. And it's not contagious either. And as it is usually not itchy, the baby may not be disturbed by many but the only problem is their unsightly appearance. Itching can occur but only in severe cases. This condition is usually on the scalp. It may, however, spread over the face, neck and down to the arm. In such cases, pediatricians refer to as seborrheic dermatitis. This skin condition is closer to the eczema, but not exactly eczema, which is a very common problem in infants.
Over there are many remedies proposed to deal with cradle cap, but most important of these is the use of shampoos sweet medicated. And you can treat your own baby. This is not a serious condition, but it is all about taking care of your baby. As you shampoo often, the scales tend to soften and the same may be slowly erased with a soft comb or soft brush.
However, in the case, the rash spreads to the face and condition of cradle cap does not really gentle shampoo with it is best to consult a dermatologist as it may suggest a cortisone cream or lotion if necessary.
